Selection & Placement
I work primarily at large scale, creating soft yet structured ivory-color canvas sculptures. I regularly partner with interior designers and art advisors on the selection and placement of work in both residential and commercial spaces.
My focus is on helping clarify how the materials and physical presence of my work lives within a room. All available works are complete and ready for placement, and I’m happy to assist the selection process through studio visits, virtual conversations, or curating shortlists for a specific project.
My studio is comfortable with long timelines, evolving decisions, and the slow unfolding of thoughtful projects—so the process feels supported without feeling rushed.
Studies
Project 0ne
Private Residence — Los Angeles (Art Advisor led)
Brief
The clients are committed collectors of art and design and are nearing completion of their collection, with only a few spaces remaining open for new work. The intent was to introduce textured works that could hold their own within a highly curated environment while contributing to the continuity and rhythm of the interior.
Artwork
Moy - Flute edition, 30h × 36w inches. Placement: Entry lobby above an upholstered bench.
Kennedy - Ennis edition, 36h × 36w inches. Placement: Primary bedroom, opposite the bed.
Timeframe
Moy and Kennedy were previewed in the clients’ residence, selected, and installed within approximately 8 weeks. The process included one studio visit, one in-home client visit, and ongoing coordination throughout.
Conclusion
The ability to trial multiple works in the home allowed for confident, intuitive decision-making. Moy provides a rich focal point in the lobby, grounding the entry sequence, while Kennedy introduces softness and balance in the bedroom. The clients were thrilled with both the collaborative process and the final placements, resulting in decisive installations that feel personal and enduring.
Project two
Private Residences — Las Vegas (Art Advisor led)
Brief
Initiated by a Las Vegas–based art advisor for two residential placements. The first was a private apartment where the advisor was selecting art for a writer’s residency, primarily a sculptural work to activate an open stairwell. The second placement was for the advisor’s own downtown loft, following a move from a suburban family home. This project marked a deliberate shift toward a quieter, more considered living environment shaped by art, light, and architecture.
Artwork
Neagh - Installation, 70h × 49w diameter inches.
Placement: Hung from ceiling in a double-height loft sitting room.
Munn - Ennis series, 60h × 60w inches.
Placement: Adjacent to the open staircase.
Timeframe
Six months from initial inquiry to final installation, including a two-month delay related to construction completion. The process involved ongoing consultation via email, phone, and an in-person site visit. The works were delivered and installation overseen directly by the studio.
Conclusion
Neagh brings softness and vertical movement to the loft volume, reinforcing the advisor’s intention to “start again” and creating a sense of calm and cohesion within their new home.
Munn provides a strong measured presence beside the open stairwell, introducing texture and scale without overpowering the space.
Project three
Private Residence — Marin, CA ( Interior Designer led)
Brief
Private family residence in Marin. The designer long wanted a work by Mary Little and was intent to acquire one for her new residence. Designing her own home was a special process that required seeking art that resonated, with a goal to integrate it within her everyday life.
Artwork
Maura - Lee series, 58h × 50w × 15d inches
Placement: Dining room, adjacent to the dinning table and beside french widows.
Timeframe
Maura was selected and reserved in advance while the work was committed to a six-week gallery exhibition. Delivery and installation were organised soon afterward.
Conclusion
Installed beside French windows opening onto the garden, Maura functions as a soft architectural anchor—its depth and surface responding to shifting natural light throughout the day. The placement reflects a designer relationship built on familiarity, trust, and timing, resulting in a considered, permanent home for the work.

My studio is used to working with the slower, more considered rhythms of long-form projects. We stay patient and engaged, knowing that good decisions often take time, with natural pauses along the way. We’re happy to support extended timelines, including safely storing purchased works until a project is ready to receive them. And if a project eventually shifts direction, as they sometimes do, my view is that there’s always another day!
Studio visits in Los Angeles or video consultations are always welcome.
We’re here to support a thoughtful placement process.

"The addition of artwork to a living space is the happy conclusion of great design. To my mind successful interior design trades on a clear-eyed understanding of the client’s functional needs. SO art consulting - the cherry on top of the cake to design - is a clear-eyed understanding of the client’s wants - no matter what they may need!”

“I am in awe of how light and shadows move across the piece on a daily and seasonal basis and find myself discovering new references to both landscapes and the human body.”
